This section of my gallery is quite diverse. My work in other media includes block printing, embroidery (including goldwork), and some use of acrylics in monoprinting, and now painting.
Pansies in Red Vase (acrylic)
A friend of mine, Lee York, is an accomplished artist. She is the one who introduced me to pastels. and now she is giving me lessons in acrylics. This is my first work under her tutelage. I love the sponging technique she showed me, used in the center background. I had originally painted this with pastels. I'll add that here for comparison's sake.
