Metaliteracy: Engaging Students Through Assessment as Learning was the title of a keynote address I gave with Tom Mackey for the 4th National Meeting of Information Competencies sponsored by the University of Puerto Rico on February 11, 2021. This presentation focused on ways to engage students in learning with metaliteracy, open learning, and assessment as learning.


Preparing Metaliterate Learners for the College Environment with SUNY's iSucceed College Success Course, Learning with Innovative Technology, Virtual. July 10, 2020. This presentation was with Thomas P. Mackey and Kelsey L. O'Brien. 


On May 10, 2020, I presented with Tom Mackey at the Conference on Learning Information Literacy Across the Globe in Frankfurt am Main.  Our presentation was Developing Metaliterate Citizens: Designing and Delivering Enhanced Global Learning Opportunities (Kelsey O'Brien was also an author on the paper).

I gave the keynote address at the University of Georgia GIL User Group Meeting in Athens, GA in May, 2018. It was entitled The Value of a Growth Mindset Whilst Deluged by Information. This topic was rather outside those I usually present about, and it was really fun to work on.
